This location does not have adequate parking. Lot is very small and there are not enough spots for the number of rooms.
Microwave in bathroom was plugged into a power strip strapped to the wall which was powered by an extension cord run across to the other side of the bathroom.
But for the good part, Wifi was fast and had good signal strength.
I don't know why Motel 6 has gone to this God awful modernized look in their rooms but its very sterile and uninviting. The previous room style felt cozy and the beds were much for comfortable. Now, the rooms seem like you're sleeping in someone’s pool house. Comfortable recliner like chairs are replaced with what feels like something I would have sat on in High School. My computer screen is larger than the TV screen in the room. Foe wood floors. No carpet. No rug. Something about taking your shoes off and being able to have the comfort of carpet on the feet just isn’t found with vinyl. I realize this isn’t 5 star accommodations. But I do know that the previous design of your rooms were much more cozy and accommodated the basic comforts of the traveler. Now it feels like a room you have to settle for rather than an inviting place to stay. I may not like it but I can still sleep and get up the next day and move on right? We booked the room at noon that day. We checked in at 9PM. The room was somewhere between 90F and 100F. They can't be so dense to not understand that their building is hit by the sun almost all day. I know saving money is important. But, knowing the situation, they could have had the foresight to turn on the air conditioning in the rooms they knew were booked. Instead, the a/c was off and our room was like an oven. It literally took our breath. It took SEVEN HOURS for the room to cool down. We rolled around and sweat in the bed. There was no sleeping. The air conditioner worked, but it blows air up and not across the room. So basically, it was blowing cold air up at the ceiling... causing the hot air (that rises) to come down in the room. That caused 7 hours worth of heat torture. We took showers to try to cool down. There is no water pressure and very little control of water temp. There is no cold/hot side. You simply turn the faucet handle and it mixes the water temp for you. Great if you can make it go straight cold... but it wouldn't. The showers helped but we were still miserable. we managed a few hours sleep between 6am and 8am, just as the construction workers started beating on walls and floors on the rooms around us. I get it, they were renovating, but this was just the cherry on top of what was already a horrible experience. When I explained this to the owner... he said nothing. He and his wife literally stared at me until I walked out. Not a word said. Never again! Never again!
If I got one of the better rooms...this place need to be closed down.
The remodeled rooms look very nice. Sorry but I slept poorly due to noises from parking lot, nearby rooms, bumping noises from the room above and people going up and down stairs. Then after a couple of hours rest it started all over again with guests leaving before daylight. Air conditioner extremely noisy as it cycled on and off. I am usually pretty easy to please as I have traveled all my life and career. I usually book the room with a standard credit card and pay with my debit card. The desk clerk didn't know how to do this.
Never had more than one roll of toilet paper and it was very very cheap quality.
Paint was peeling off in big globs from the wall.
No elevator to second floor where I was. I have a bad leg (disability) and had to lug all luggage upstairs. Was told there were no downstairs rooms.
The clerk told me she was putting me in one of the nicer rooms.
Very hot room because air had been off, understandable. Took a few hours , but finally cooled off.
TV (tube type) was terrible most channels were terrible quality. The picture was very dark and there was no way to adjust the quality.
Bathroom exhaust fan sounded like it was about to explode...bad bearings.
Not one box of tissue anywhere...No pads or pens.
People "sleeping" next door made it horrible. The guy was throwing the girl out, yelling drunk. The manager did nothing. If it wasnt for that it would get a 5 star.
First arrived in room (#205)....No Lights, all lamps missing..pitch dark...took a couple hours but finally found me 2.
Wash cloth used to clean bathroom was all crumpled and dried up and hanging on top of shower curtain rod ...filthy.
Pulled down the bedspread to view sheets which revealed a big stain on sheet. I never slept between sheets because of that. Housekeeping came in twice but never changed sheets.
In addition, the rooms are in disrepair. The motel is being renovated and possibly I got a "before" room, but there is no excuse for having bare ground showing under the bathroom sink cabinet.
At night construction workers who were renting rooms there were all standing around outside on the balcony drinking and smoking one room down from mine.
