My 2007 Ford Edge (with over 200,000 miles) overheated while I was in town for work this past Wednesday. I was able to get it to the service dept. at Paris Ford Thursday morning. I was pretty distressed about it because I needed to get back home that day. Renee Purcell was my service advisor and she was so kind and considerate to me. Tim Lancaster was the tech working on my car and he really stepped up along with the entire service dept. and got me back on the road home by 12:30 that very same day. And my car is running great! Drove two hours after working night shift with two babies to purchase a car I found online. Had worked out all paperwork online and over the phone, which was great, so we could get it and drive home to be back for work. But car was NOT as advertised at all. It was advertised as "lightly driven and taken care of" and "had little to no wear or tear." It had been wrecked and not repaired, it was not clean, and there were so many things wrong with the inside, such has head lamps broke, door trim and kickboards completely missing, tint was peeling, knobs missing on climate controls, and the whole front interior dashboard looked like someone took a razor to it. I will say, the salesman was great with responses over the phone and didn't hassle us when we said it was in terrible condition. He talked to the manager about getting the price down but it just wasn't the car advertised at all.
